Base Salary
$184k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead high-impact initiatives across Decisioning Studio and Braze’s AI Decisioning product tiers.
- Build full-stack experiences spanning dashboard UI, data models, APIs, background jobs, and services connected to ML pipelines.
- Lead web application architecture efforts focused on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and ML Engineering to translate the AI product roadmap into reliable software.
- Influence product strategy and roadmap through technical insights and user-experience innovation.
- Mentor engineers and support their technical growth while fostering a high-performance engineering culture.
- Support teams implementing Braze’s AI solutions to facilitate customer success and collaboration.
Requirements
- Have 7+ years of relevant experience with a strong record of delivering impact.
- Be able to design and build full-stack product surfaces, including data models, APIs, and background jobs.
- Have strong frontend development skills with TypeScript and React; Vue experience is a plus.
- Have a strong background designing and maintaining scalable web application architectures.
- Use AI coding agents as a default workflow and build reusable skills and automation that improve team velocity.
- Communicate clearly through design documents, technical proposals, and explanations of complex systems.
- Demonstrate a user-centric approach and commitment to exceptional user experiences and maintainable code.
- Be comfortable navigating large codebases, aligning stakeholders, and driving consensus on technical decisions.
- Have experience mentoring engineers and contributing to their technical development.
- Strongly preferred: experience developing user experiences for machine-learning and data-intensive applications.
- Strongly preferred: experience building product surfaces on LLMs and agentic systems, including embeddings, agent orchestration, and evaluation.
- Strongly preferred: experience with Python and/or Ruby on Rails.
