Base Salary
$166k - $272k/yr
Responsibilities
- Translate complex customer and partner problems into Microsoft-aligned industry solutions and cloud architectures.
- Guide customers toward secure, resilient, AI-enabled, cost-optimized, and performance-optimized solutions.
- Provide technical pre-sales support, proofs of concept, technical validation, advice, training, and adoption guidance.
- Drive consumption, usage, unified expansion, solution utilization pipelines, and long-term customer value realization.
- Partner with account, sales, engineering, product, and delivery teams to execute customer and partner strategies.
- Identify and mitigate business and technical risks, blockers, governance issues, and deployment constraints.
- Act as the voice of customers and partners by sharing feedback, insights, patterns, and business cases with Microsoft teams.
- Lead, mentor, and assemble virtual teams while driving technical readiness, presentations, community engagement, and scalable intellectual property.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure technologies, IT consulting or support, systems administration, network operations, software development or support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting, or equivalent experience.
- U.S. citizenship verification is required because the role supports U.S. government customers subject to citizenship-based legal restrictions.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: at least 6 years in a customer-facing role and at least 6 years leading technical projects.
- Preferred: technical cloud certification, such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, or security certifications.
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
Benefits
- The position requires living within commuter distance of the Mountain View office.
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $130,900-$251,900 per year; a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range is USD $165,600-$272,300 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
