Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, high-performing, scalable web applications.
- Build user stories using C# .NET Web APIs, Node.js, and SQL Server while following coding best practices and writing unit tests.
- Review business requirements, help break them into user stories, and maintain technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews and provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing systems.
- Implement, operate, troubleshoot, and monitor cloud-based and cloud-hosted services and scalable systems.
- Build and improve continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Participate in Scrum planning and coordination across teams.
- Develop solutions for complex problems independently and collaboratively.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science or comparable qualification.
- At least five years of professional experience as a .NET software engineer.
- Expertise writing secure APIs, microservices, reusable components, and modules.
- Strong understanding of .NET web application development, build, and deployment.
- Understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
- Understanding of Azure or AWS application development services and Node.js.
- Experience developing enterprise-scale, multi-user applications and optimizing Web APIs for large-scale usage.
- Experience with MVC.NET, Microsoft .NET Core, .NET Standard and/or .NET Framework, C#, dependency injection, ORM frameworks, IIS hosting, SQL Server, schema creation, and query optimization.
- Experience with serverless architecture and AWS services is preferred.
- Experience with Apache Solr is a plus.
- Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Very good spoken and written English and a collaborative, responsible, independent, solution-oriented working style.
