Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native architectures on Azure for data platforms, APIs, and microservices.
- Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar tools.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows for infrastructure and platform services.
- Implement secure cloud environments covering IAM, networking, encryption, and policy controls.
- Lead hands-on containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Establish logging, monitoring, alerting, governance, and operational models across platform architecture and operations.
- Drive cloud cost optimization through rightsizing, scaling strategies, and usage monitoring.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues and review or govern partner deliverables.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, or platform engineering.
- Deep expertise in Azure; AWS or GCP experience is a plus.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM infrastructure as code.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of networking, security, IAM, and distributed systems.
- Experience building and supporting production-grade cloud platforms.
- Preferred AZ-305 or equivalent certification.
- Experience supporting data platforms such as Databricks and Spark and API ecosystems.
- Familiarity with platform engineering concepts, internal developer platforms, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Monitor.
- Experience working in regulated environments such as healthcare.
