Base Salary
$180k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the billing pipeline for usage event ingestion and processing.
- Create an aggregation layer for summarizing raw usage events by customer and product.
- Integrate with usage-based billing platforms and implement invoice generation logic.
- Develop customer-facing billing views and dashboards within the Deepgram Console.
- Manage billing-related authorization surfaces, including API key and token management.
- Build internal analytics pipelines to surface usage trends and revenue metrics.
- Implement automated reconciliation between usage events and billing records.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in billing, payments, or financial data systems in a SaaS environment.
- Strong backend engineering skills in Python, TypeScript/Node.js, Go, or similar.
- Deep experience with relational databases and data pipeline design.
- Hands-on experience integrating with billing platforms and CRM systems.
- Understanding of usage-based pricing models and related edge cases.
- Experience building reconciliation and data integrity systems.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with various teams.
