Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable end-to-end enterprise applications across frontend, middle-tier, and backend layers.
- Build reusable, responsive user interfaces using Angular as the primary framework and React as a secondary framework.
- Develop secure APIs, microservices, and backend services using Python, FastAPI, Flask, Django, C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and .NET Core.
- Design and optimize SQL Server and SQL Azure databases, queries, and performance-sensitive applications.
- Implement unit, integration, automated, and test-driven development practices using frameworks such as MSTest, NUnit, and xUnit.
- Use GitHub Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Coding Agents, Visual Studio Code, prompt libraries, MCP integrations, agent workflows, templates, and developer accelerators to improve engineering productivity.
- Drive adoption of AI-Driven Application Development Lifecycle practices across requirements, architecture, coding, testing, reviews, documentation, modernization, deployment, and support.
- Lead technical strategy, architecture reviews, design direction, code reviews, technical debt reduction, risk mitigation, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product, architecture, development, QA, automation, and Scrum teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, delegate work, troubleshoot application issues, participate in on-call support, and communicate project status and blockers.
- Evaluate AI-powered developer tools while maintaining governance, security, compliance, responsible AI, and engineering quality standards.
Requirements
- B.Tech/BE in Computer Science, MCA, or a related field.
- 6–9 years of hands-on software engineering experience across frontend, backend, databases, testing, cloud, and DevOps.
- Strong experience with Angular, React.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive web design, frontend architecture, state management, accessibility, and reusable components.
- Strong Python experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed application development.
- Experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, .NET Core, SQL Server, SQL Azure, Entity Framework, XML, and JSON.
- Experience with object-oriented design, enterprise and design patterns, secure coding, performance optimization, authentication, authorization, and RESTful API development.
- Experience with unit testing and test automation, including MSTest, NUnit, xUnit, and related frameworks.
- Strong experience with GitHub Copilot, Copilot Chat, Copilot Coding Agents, Visual Studio Code, Copilot Skills, prompt libraries, MCP integrations, AI agent workflows, and AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, validation of AI-generated code, AIDLC, Generative AI, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, semantic search, vector databases, and enterprise AI applications.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps, source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, release management, QA automation integration, and Microsoft Azure.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Key Vault, Application Insights, Azure Monitoring, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Service Bus, Kafka, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot Extensions, MCP Servers, and agentic AI platforms.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, mentoring, technical leadership, stakeholder communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills.
