Responsibilities
- Analyze large volumes of data to identify email threats and develop real-time detection algorithms.
- Research and implement new machine learning-based email threat detections across multiple attack vectors.
- Build, train, evaluate, and continuously optimize machine learning classifiers.
- Collaborate with machine learning and software engineers to scale algorithms and deploy them to production.
- Communicate security risks and required remediations clearly in written and verbal form.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience; an advanced degree is a plus.
- 4–5 years of experience creating and maintaining machine learning models.
- Proven experience developing production-grade machine learning algorithms for practical problems.
- At least 4 years of experience analyzing large structured and unstructured datasets using Python or other relevant languages.
- Strong understanding of probability and supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Experience with Databricks and SQL.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud architecture is a plus.
- Experience with deep learning, MLFlow, graph modeling, cybersecurity, LLMs, RAG systems, and evaluation frameworks is a plus.
