Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality software according to relevant standards and processes.
- Participate in all Agile software development sprint events.
- Assist with task decomposition and work estimation.
- Assist with system testing, including performance and unit testing.
- Assist with system documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and technical specialists throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Represent KBR professionally and follow its policies, Business Management System, and security documentation.
- Perform other tasks as directed by KBR management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with ASP.NET, C#, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Transact-SQL, including stored procedures.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming and unit testing.
- Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO/TFS) and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Experience developing with an Agile methodology, including Agile/Scrum.
- Experience using the Microsoft software development and test product stack.
- Experience developing applications for Defence networks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organization, prioritization, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Active NV1 Defence Security Clearance or higher is required; candidates must also comply with ITAR requirements.
