Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain high-quality web applications, services, and supporting systems.
- Independently deliver features and technical tasks using established architectures, patterns, and engineering practices.
- Own assigned features from implementation through testing and delivery.
- Collaborate with engineers, cross-functional teams, external partners, and vendors.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, troubleshooting, and knowledge sharing.
- Improve code quality, maintainability, performance, development workflows, and existing shared solutions.
- Translate business and user requirements into appropriate technical implementations.
- Contribute to reducing technical debt and improving existing components and services.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar web development position.
- Practical knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, React or Next.js, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and browser fundamentals.
- Understanding of common design patterns and application architecture principles.
- Knowledge of HTTP, APIs, and OpenAPI.
- Experience with automated testing using Jest, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of Git, Docker, and dependency and build tooling such as npm or yarn.
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, web application security, and privacy principles.
- Knowledge of SEO, accessibility, and web performance fundamentals.
- Familiarity with PHP or Go, Symfony or similar backend frameworks, MySQL/PostgreSQL, cloud and container orchestration, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, RabbitMQ, and NoSQL databases is preferred.
