Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows.
  • Automate build, validation, deployment, post-deployment verification, and quality gates across environments.
  • Automate infrastructure and service onboarding for new Azure regions and sovereign clouds.
  • Develop reusable scripts and tools for ADF, ADMS, Microsoft Fabric Data Integration, and Airflow deployment workflows.
  • Develop PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, REST API, and infrastructure-as-code automation for scalable provisioning.
  • Manage configuration across environments and regions and build automated health checks and deployment validation.
  • Troubleshoot deployment, configuration, networking, authentication, certificate, and infrastructure issues.
  • Perform root-cause analysis, improve monitoring and alerting, and participate in production and live-site investigations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with data integration, migrations, ELT, or ETL tooling is mandatory.
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with PowerShell and/or Python scripting, Git workflows, Azure infrastructure, deployment automation, infrastructure as code, REST APIs, monitoring, logging, and incident investigation.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Kubernetes/AKS and container technologies.
  • Ability to pass Microsoft’s Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
  • Preferred experience includes ARM/Bicep, Azure networking and Managed VNet concepts, Azure identity and access technologies, multi-region or sovereign-cloud deployments, and Kusto, Azure Monitor, Geneva, or similar observability platforms.
  • Preferred education includes a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
