Responsibilities
- Architect flight software solutions across sustaining engineering and next-generation autonomous satellite constellations.
- Lead system trade studies and design solutions in collaboration with various engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain robust regression testing frameworks for flight and embedded software.
- Guide multi-disciplinary engineering teams through anomaly resolution and technical risk management.
- Define technical standards and best practices for flight software architecture.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a relevant discipline.
- Deep technical expertise in avionics software and embedded systems development.
- Strong software development skills including REST APIs, Linux, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Cross-functional collaboration mindset with awareness of spacecraft disciplines.
