Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted technical advisor on high-value customer implementations and expansions, shaping integration approaches, system configuration, and solution design.
- Translate customer requirements into scalable architectures with implementation and account management teams.
- Lead technical discovery with sales teams, assess customer systems and workflows, and recommend integration blueprints using APIs and third-party connectors.
- Troubleshoot integration challenges and guide customers through complex configuration decisions, emphasizing robust and maintainable implementations.
- Create internal documentation, playbooks, and lightweight tooling for integration-heavy use cases.
- Share customer pain points and integration feedback with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business, Finance, Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in technical pre-sales or managing complex, multi-stakeholder technology or financial services implementations.
- 8+ years of client-facing delivery or professional services experience in environments such as SaaS, fintech, consulting, systems integration, or enterprise implementation.
- Demonstrated success delivering cross-functional projects involving executives, technical teams, operations, and other diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to lead steering meetings and influence decisions without direct authority.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with API-based payments integrations or products.
- Preferred: experience managing strategic or enterprise engagements within a broader account team.
- Preferred: ability to operate effectively in fast-moving and ambiguous environments while balancing structure with pragmatic decision-making.
