Sr. Software AI Engineer
GE VernovaResponsibilities
- Collaborate with product, design, operations, and infrastructure teams to build AI-native application experiences.
- Build AI agents, MCP servers, tools, and integrations with LLM and generative AI capabilities.
- Implement structured prompting, memory management, context management, and retrieval-augmented generation patterns.
- Drive end-to-end execution of medium-to-large features and contribute to technical direction.
- Lead technical reviews, integrations, delivery execution, testing approaches, and production support.
- Implement observability for AI features and contribute to personalized, context-aware user experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience using at least one general-purpose programming language, with Python preferred and Java or Go also accepted.
- Front-end experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience shipping production applications incorporating LLMs, MCPs, or AI services at scale.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and advanced containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Preferred: cloud software development, architecture design, technical leadership, system optimization, and agent development frameworks such as Strands or ADK.
- Preferred: multiple LLM providers, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, LangChain, React, Vue, Angular, advanced state management, pgvector, embedding model optimization, semantic search, enterprise RAG, and conversation memory management.
