Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated test suites covering functional and non-functional requirements across acceptance and deployment stages.
- Integrate automated testing into feature development and CI/CD pipelines while maintaining an 80% automation ratio.
- Perform automated UI, exploratory, acceptance, regression, sanity, deployment, and performance-related testing.
- Develop and refine test strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria, including edge, boundary, and corner cases.
- Debug application issues, troubleshoot across application layers, and perform root cause analysis for defects and performance problems.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, development managers, business analysts, product owners, and testing teams to ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Provide regular updates to the Team Manager and build effective relationships with IT and non-IT stakeholders across Eurofins.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least three years of software testing experience with a strong focus on test automation and proven manual testing skills.
- Thorough understanding of acceptance, regression, sanity, exploratory, functional, and non-functional testing.
- Proficiency in test automation using object-oriented languages such as Java or C#.
- Experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium or JavaScript frameworks such as WebdriverIO.
- Understanding of REST web services and ESB queuing patterns, with the ability to test them through automation.
- Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices for integrating testing into software delivery.
- Experience debugging code, troubleshooting across application layers, and conducting root cause analysis.
- Hands-on exploratory testing experience and the ability to extend and refine acceptance criteria.
- Preferred experience with SpecFlow, Reqnroll, JBehave, or Cucumber.js; PowerShell, Shell, or Bash; Git; Azure DevOps Pipelines; Jenkins; JavaScript or TypeScript; JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling; relational databases; and SQL.
- Experience testing backend services developed with Domain-Driven Design and interpreting performance test results is preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English and conversational Vietnamese are required; Mandarin or French is preferred.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with distributed, multilingual teams and diverse stakeholders.
