Responsibilities
- Design, build, evaluate, and ship LLM-based solutions for user listening experiences.
- Work on prompted playlist experiences focusing on music fulfillment and session generation.
- Collaborate with user research, design, data science, product, and engineering teams.
- Prototype new ML approaches and bring them into production at a global scale.
- Build and improve systems connecting artists and fans in personalized ways.
- Contribute to scalable ML systems serving hundreds of millions of users.
- Promote best practices in ML system design, testing, evaluation, and deployment.
- Contribute to the machine learning community at Spotify.
Requirements
- Experienced in machine learning and solving complex real-world problems.
- Strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI.
- Comfortable applying theory to build production-ready applications.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying end-to-end ML systems at scale.
- Familiar with LLM-based systems and techniques for improvement using human feedback.
- Experience designing modular ML architectures and writing technical specifications.
- Experienced with large-scale distributed data processing tools like Apache Beam or Spark.
- Worked with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS.
