Responsibilities
- Design and maintain the TRR backend, including ride matching and fare calculation.
- Build and operate services using PostgreSQL, Redis, and RabbitMQ in a Kubernetes environment.
- Enhance system observability through tracing, metrics, and alerting.
- Collaborate on API design with frontend, mobile, and operations teams.
- Participate in incident response and post-mortems to identify root causes.
- Contribute to capacity planning and load testing for new deployment sites.
Requirements
- Strong experience in building backend systems that handle real traffic at scale.
- Deep fluency in at least one backend language such as TypeScript/Node.js, Go, Python, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
- Familiarity with message broker patterns, preferably RabbitMQ.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Strong debugging instincts and problem-solving skills.
