Responsibilities
- Design and build data-first UI surfaces for schema exploration, lineage, querying, semantic modeling, dashboards, and Data Platform Concierge interfaces.
- Extend and maintain a shared component language across Data Platform surfaces.
- Partner with UX, backend, and platform engineers to turn platform primitives into self-service user experiences.
- Improve frontend testing, build and deployment pipelines, component architecture, and accessibility.
- Mentor engineers and serve as a design-review partner for customer-facing Data Platform surfaces.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, ES6+, and modern JavaScript patterns for large-scale applications.
- Strong working knowledge of at least one major frontend framework such as React, Vue, Angular, or Ember.
- Experience building reusable components with the Web Components API and Lit or similar declarative component libraries.
- Hands-on experience with charting or visualization libraries such as amCharts or D3.js and interactive dashboards.
- Understanding of component architecture, dependency injection, state management, and modular design in large codebases.
- Experience with Vite, Webpack, pnpm or npm, and monorepo architectures such as Nx or Turborepo.
- Familiarity with frontend CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Comfort working in fast-moving, multi-repository Git environments.
- Strong focus on creating simple and intuitive user experiences for technical audiences.
- Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Experience with Vitest, Playwright, or similar testing tools is a bonus.
- Familiarity with XML schemas such as XSD, REST or GraphQL integrations, LLMs, agents, MCP-style tooling, open source projects, or cybersecurity, data-platform, and developer-tools domains is a bonus.
