Responsibilities

  • Own the reliability, scalability, and performance of Azure-hosted environments.
  • Lead operational support and onboarding for new and existing client platforms.
  • Provide technical leadership in SRE practices, tooling, incident response, and service quality.
  • Automate manual processes and build reusable onboarding automation pipelines.
  • Implement observability frameworks with proactive alerting and oversee incident postmortems and root cause analysis.
  • Coordinate maintenance, deployments, refreshes, rollbacks, application upgrades, disaster recovery, configuration management, and infrastructure readiness.
  • Lead solutions workshops, engage vendors, manage senior stakeholders, and influence platform design and roadmaps.
  • Mentor junior and senior engineers and contribute to incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Provide weekend or on-call support as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or cloud infrastructure leadership roles.
  • Strong expertise designing and operating production-grade Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, ARM, and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana, and cloud-native monitoring and incident management frameworks.
  • Knowledge of networking, virtualization, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Windows, APIs, PowerShell, Bash, and SQL.
  • Experience managing both client onboarding projects and live production operations.
  • Ability to mentor engineers, influence architecture decisions, manage complexity, and balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution.
  • Experience with SimCorp Dimension is preferred.

Benefits

  • Toronto salary range is $113,000 to 142,300 CAD, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off, and Group RRSP/TFSA.
  • Global hybrid policy requires working from the office two days per week, with remote work allowed on other days.
