Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and own high-throughput, fault-tolerant Data Factory pipelines and dataflows for enterprise-scale data integration.
- Translate customer and user requirements into technical designs and lead architecture discussions for complex features.
- Apply AI tools responsibly across the software development lifecycle and take ownership of generated assets.
- Conduct code reviews, uphold quality, security, and compliance standards, and coach other engineers.
- Design test strategies covering regression, security, edge cases, and negative cases.
- Deliver features through planning, task tracking, feature flighting, rollback planning, and automated deployments.
- Own live-site reliability through telemetry, observability, incident response, postmortems, root-cause fixes, and improved on-call practices.
- Collaborate with Fabric and Azure partner teams to resolve dependencies and ownership conflicts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: master’s degree and 6+ years of technical engineering experience, or a bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience.
- Preferred: experience building modern web applications with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or similar technologies.
- Preferred: experience designing accessible, responsive, and highly performant user experiences.
- Preferred: experience building customer-facing applications for cloud, analytics, data, or enterprise software platforms.
- Preferred: familiarity with frontend performance optimization, telemetry, experimentation frameworks, and customer usage analytics.
- Preferred: experience collaborating with UX designers and influencing technical decisions across engineering disciplines.
