Responsibilities
- Assist in developing safety-critical embedded software for industrial systems.
- Build low-level firmware to control electromechanical actuators, process high-speed sensor data, and execute fault-tolerant control logic.
- Support control architecture, state machine, and data acquisition system development.
- Contribute to automated build, test, and validation infrastructure.
- Integrate firmware with hardware and troubleshoot electromechanical systems alongside cross-functional engineering teams.
- Debug embedded systems using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers, and other laboratory instrumentation.
- Support integrated system testing and commissioning on production equipment.
- Work extended hours and weekends as necessary.
Requirements
- Be a current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Have development experience in C, C++, Golang, Python, or Rust.
- Have a general understanding of embedded or low-level systems development.
- Demonstrate strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Preferred qualifications include data acquisition experience, electrical hardware troubleshooting or PCBA bring-up, digital signal processing coursework or projects, low-level communication protocol debugging, and PLC/SCADA coursework or project experience.
Benefits
