Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Architect, implement, refactor, and scale object-oriented UI and server-side test automation frameworks.
  • Develop maintainable automation code, custom libraries, utility functions, dynamic test scenarios, and executable step definitions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams during sprint planning and grooming to define automation requirements, acceptance criteria, and application testability hooks.
  • Implement and advocate for Behavior Driven Development and Test Driven Development practices using feature files and step definitions.
  • Build automated validation suites for RESTful APIs, microservices, and SQL and NoSQL database layers.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI and machine learning utilities for self-healing scripts, visual regression, script generation, and test-coverage optimization.
  • Analyze execution failures and environment issues, debug automation defects, and coordinate resolution with development teams.
  • Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines and highly parallelized regression runs in containerized environments.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of relevant software development experience.
  • Advanced hands-on proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Extensive experience with IntelliJ IDEA and production-grade automation development.
  • Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot for script generation, code refactoring, and automation workflow optimization.
  • Deep expertise in Selenium WebDriver and associated automation frameworks.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Tekton.
  • Experience running automated regression testing with Docker and Kubernetes using pipeline-as-code configurations.
  • Strong familiarity with Git, branching strategies, and pull request workflows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical communication, and architectural collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical hands-on software development experience.

  • Primary location salary range is $94,300.00–$141,500.00 annually.
  • The role operates in an Agile Scrum environment and involves collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.
