Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and optimize secure, scalable, highly available, reliable, and cost-effective Microsoft Azure environments.
- Configure and support Azure infrastructure, VNets, subnets, network security groups, private endpoints, identity, access management, and deployment processes.
- Implement infrastructure as code and automated deployments using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, and deployment issues using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- Support cloud security, governance, cost optimization, migration, modernization, backup, and disaster recovery initiatives.
Requirements
- 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure or cloud engineering.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services, Azure networking, cloud security, access management, governance, architecture, scalability, availability, and reliability.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and identity/access management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment processes, and infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Experience with Azure Monitor and Application Insights and troubleshooting Azure environments.
- Preferred experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Azure Policy, Management Groups, RBAC, Azure Landing Zones, Azure cost optimization, AKS, containerized workloads, Azure Key Vault, Azure Backup, Site Recovery, disaster recovery, and cloud migration or modernization projects.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent are preferred.
