Responsibilities
- Develop and integrate user interfaces, backend services, APIs, and complete AI applications.
- Build single- and multi-step agents with tools, state, memory, human checkpoints, and optimized instructions and context.
- Design reliable agent workflows with durable state, resumability, recovery, retries, timeouts, and rollback or compensation mechanisms.
- Build retrieval and knowledge pipelines, prepare structured and unstructured data, and design protected knowledge stores.
- Deploy AI applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and integrate them with enterprise and on-premise systems.
- Apply secure engineering, least-privilege access, permission boundaries, connector security, and client or tenant isolation.
- Build evaluation and regression-testing practices and monitor quality, latency, cost, and production operations.
- Translate product objectives into technical decisions, communicate trade-offs, prepare client teams, and contribute reusable components and standards.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated software engineering experience through employment, independent projects, coursework, or open-source contributions.
- Strong coding skills in Python and/or TypeScript, including debugging, source control, and automated testing.
- Experience building working LLM-powered applications or agents using tools or APIs, retrieval, or prompt and context design.
- Ability to develop software components, integrate APIs, and grow across frontend, backend, and full-stack delivery.
- Foundational SQL and structured or unstructured data skills.
- Hands-on cloud platform experience, preferably AWS, including application deployment, cloud services, containers, APIs, and infrastructure.
- Understanding of cloud security, identity and access management, networking, monitoring, cost optimization, software testing, and scenario-based agent evaluation.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English and ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs.
- Preferred qualifications include multi-agent orchestration, enterprise integrations, vector or graph databases, observability tooling, AWS services, Azure or Google Cloud equivalents, AWS CDK, automated cloud deployments, AI security and governance, consulting or client-facing experience, and a portfolio of code or shipped products.
