Responsibilities
- Architect closed-loop recursive self-improvement pipelines that diagnose failures, refine instructions and trajectories, synthesize evaluation or training data, and verify gains autonomously.
- Build multi-agent systems that audit, compress, and de-conflict model context while improving token efficiency and inference speed.
- Connect inference-time context engineering with supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning to distill rules into model weights.
- Advance automated optimization methods for production multimodal and reasoning systems.
- Help define the multi-quarter roadmap across Engineering and Research and establish automated evaluation gates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of software development experience.
- Five years of experience with ML design and LLM or multimodal agent architectures.
- Experience using agentic AI frameworks or developer kits to build and deploy autonomous AI systems.
- Experience with automated LLM evaluation, such as LLM-as-a-Judge, multi-turn user simulation, or Pareto optimization.
- Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows and designing metrics for AI tools.
- Eight years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Three years of experience in technical leadership, leading project teams, and setting technical direction.
- Three years of experience in complex, matrixed, cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
- Experience building recursive self-improvement, automated prompt, or agent refinement frameworks such as DSPy, OPRO, TextGrad, Reflexion, or STaR.
- Experience improving benchmarks for instruction following, multimodal reasoning, and agents.
- Experience with prompt compression, structured output enforcement, or context-to-weight distillation.
