Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve issues across multiple components of critical business systems.
- Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and application issues using Google Kubernetes Engine and cloud infrastructure knowledge.
- Collaborate with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions across teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system reliability and optimize support processes.
- Monitor systems and apply incident management practices to prevent disruptions.
- Act as a subject matter expert, help manage team execution, and make team decisions.
- Mentor junior team members in technical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience with Google Kubernetes Engine.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Proficiency in Google Kubernetes Engine.
- Experience with container orchestration and management in cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and deployment models.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and application issues.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management practices.
