Full Stack Software Engineer (Java & React)
State StreetResponsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.
- Design, build, and support Java/Spring Boot microservices and APIs.
- Integrate applications with internal and external investment data sources.
- Develop secure, scalable, cloud-native solutions on Azure.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions with product, business, data, and architecture stakeholders.
- Improve application reliability through automated testing, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architectural decisions.
- Support CI/CD processes and DevOps practices.
- Own delivery from design through production support and continuously improve engineering standards and automation.
Requirements
- Strong experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience in financial services, asset management, or Alternatives investments.
- Preferred experience with data-intensive applications and reporting platforms.
