Distinguished Strategic Solution Engineer - Central Gov/Public Sector
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Lead technical and business discovery through workshops, stakeholder sessions, and structured problem-solving for strategic public-sector accounts.
- Partner with sales teams as a technical and commercial co-pilot throughout complex opportunities.
- Shape solution strategies connecting Salesforce’s multi-product platform to UK Government priorities.
- Build and deliver executive demonstrations, rapid prototypes, and hands-on proofs of concept.
- Develop public-sector perspectives on agentic workflows, grounding and RAG architecture, Agentforce, data, and responsible AI governance.
- Demonstrate the value of Salesforce throughout government procurement with senior business and technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate product specialists, subject-matter experts, builders, and delivery resources.
- Share reusable assets and expertise to strengthen the broader Global Public Sector Solution Engineering community.
Requirements
- A degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- 10+ years of IT industry experience in pre-sales or implementation of customer engagement solutions, supporting sales cycles for CRM or high-value business solutions.
- Extensive experience designing solutions for complex business and technology environments, including cloud platforms, APIs, integration patterns, data infrastructure, and identity/security considerations.
- Proven ability to engage credibly with C-level business and technology audiences while balancing commercial and technical perspectives.
- Excellent structured, clear, audience-aware written and verbal communication skills.
- Working understanding of enterprise AI, large language models, agentic workflows, AI-driven automation, customer engagement, operations, and compliance.
