Base Salary
$158k - $175k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own features end-to-end across frontend and backend, from technical design through production and iteration.
- Build scalable full-stack systems for search, discovery, matching, and onboarding user journeys.
- Ship backend APIs, asynchronous workflows, and frontend experiences with strong reliability and performance.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and establish reusable engineering patterns.
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Partner with product managers and designers to turn ambiguous requirements into polished user experiences.
- Proactively address technical debt, system reliability gaps, and performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
- 1–5 years of professional software engineering experience building full-stack applications.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript across frontend and backend surfaces.
- Hands-on experience with React, Next.js, GraphQL, and Ruby on Rails.
- Solid command of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, and thoughtful data modeling.
- Ability to own features independently, drive them to completion, collaborate cross-functionally, navigate ambiguity, and make sound tradeoffs.
- Extra-credit experience includes AI-powered products, conversational interfaces, agentic frameworks such as OpenAI APIs, Temporal or asynchronous job systems, marketplaces, matching systems, multi-step onboarding flows, AWS, GCP, deployment pipelines, high-growth technology companies, design systems, or component libraries.
