Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Build and support full-stack applications using Java, Python, React, and database querying languages.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementation meets design constraints.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets to produce visualizations and reporting that improve applications and systems.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating their outputs.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding practices, system architecture, resiliency, and security.
- Contribute to team practices for responsible, secure, and effective use of AI in engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- At least 3 years of applied software engineering experience.
- Practical experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment.
- Experience with Java or Python and database querying languages.
- Experience with React.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
- Exposure to AWS is preferred.
