Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software functionality, performance, user experience, and quality standards.
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using BDD/Gherkin, Cucumber, Selenium, and Java-based UI automation frameworks.
- Test MQ, Kafka, and file-based integration patterns across distributed systems and regulated banking environments.
- Perform functional testing across ST, SIT, and E2E environments and manage defects through resolution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements, design discussions, acceptance criteria, code reviews, and shift-left quality practices.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and provide detailed information to developers to support defect resolution.
- Contribute to testing communities, quality improvements, technology initiatives, and operational effectiveness.
- Manage risk and strengthen controls while communicating complex information and influencing stakeholders.
- Lead complex assignments or teams, set objectives, coach employees, or guide team members as an individual contributor.
Requirements
- Proficiency in BDD/Gherkin, Cucumber, Selenium, Java, and UI automation frameworks.
- Strong functional testing experience across ST, SIT, and E2E, including defect management and distributed-system test execution.
- Working knowledge of JIRA for test management and defect tracking, Agile practices, and the software testing life cycle.
- Understanding of Liquidity Management or Core Banking domains, including Sweeping, Pooling, Payments, Accounts/Receivables, and Deposits.
- Ability to test SaaS platforms and internally built applications in complex banking environments.
- Desirable experience with Kafka, Spring, OpenShift, Angular, and Corporate Banking systems.
- Working knowledge of ETL testing, MongoDB, API automation, test environment setup, and performance testing with JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Exposure to AI/ML tools for test optimization and willingness to learn emerging test automation techniques.
- Ability to perform complex analysis, manage risk and controls, collaborate across functions, and influence stakeholders.
