Responsibilities
- Build and operate Kubernetes platforms using Helm and Gardener on Open Telekom Cloud.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Implement GitOps delivery using ArgoCD.
- Operate PostgreSQL with CloudNativePG and Apache Kafka with Strimzi on Kubernetes.
- Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
- Harden ingress and service-to-service communication, including mTLS.
- Collaborate with backend, security, QA, and architecture teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience operating Kubernetes in production.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Terragrunt, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Linux, and Bash or Python scripting.
- Experience with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with secrets management and supply-chain security.
- Fluent English is required; German is a strong plus.
- Preferred experience includes Gardener, CNPG, Strimzi Kafka, OTC/T-Cloud Sovereign, Istio, Cosign, KICS, kubeconform, and healthcare digital identity or regulated environments.
