Base Salary

$217k - $303k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Use ML and/or LLMs to personalize first and early user experiences on Reddit.
  • Build systems for real-time feature fetching and model inference.
  • Develop systems for recurring training of models using modern architectures.
  • Collaborate with ML Platform teams to enhance Reddit’s ML infrastructure.
  • Work with Product and Design partners to identify user problems and design ML solutions.
  • Contribute to team strategy and participate actively in planning.
  • Provide technical insight during product reviews and team meetings.
  • Foster a healthy engineering culture and collaborate with other engineers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building deep learning models using mainstream ML frameworks.
  • 5+ years of experience training, evaluating, testing, and deploying industry-level models.
  • 5+ years of experience orchestrating data generation pipelines on large-scale datasets.
  • Successful track record of applying machine learning techniques to real-world problems.
  • Fluent in data analysis and SQL.
  • Familiarity with AB testing using an experimentation platform.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a remote environment.
  • Experience writing production-quality software, preferably in Python or Go.
  • Experience with content recommendations and personalization is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a self-directed and innovative mindset.
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
