Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical direction for Angular front ends, Node.js services, and Adobe Experience Manager-authored content.
- Lead design, development, and implementation across monorepo applications and shared libraries.
- Define architectural standards for module boundaries, shared-library design, SSR/rendering strategy, integrations, build pipelines, and content/data models.
- Partner with marketing, content authors, designers, and platform teams to deliver scalable, performant, and accessible experiences.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and validation covering functionality, performance, accessibility, security, and compliance.
- Mentor engineers, promote engineering best practices, and drive continuous improvement across the monorepo.
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams, integration guides, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
- Identify improvements in tooling, automation, build and caching processes, rendering, and performance.
Requirements
- At least three years of development experience.
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, and modern Node.js, plus working knowledge of Java.
- Familiarity with microservice architecture, API design, and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based deployment, including ECS, CloudFront, and CDN/edge concepts.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, object-oriented programming, SOLID, Agile methodologies, and test-driven development.
- Experience with Nx monorepo tooling and shared component libraries is advantageous.
- Strong documentation, analytical, verbal, written communication, technical-standard-setting, leadership, and prioritization skills.
- Preferred expertise in Adobe Experience Manager, with familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform, and Adobe Target valuable.
- An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience is required; a graduate degree is preferred.
