Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable technology services using industry best practices and modern technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement features that improve user experience and system performance.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Build resilient, high-quality, performant code using automated testing, test coverage, and debugging processes.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to the strategic direction of technology solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and integrate technologies that improve engineering capabilities and speed to market.
Requirements
- Proficiency across multiple programming languages and frameworks, with expertise in both frontend and backend development.
- Experience with test coverage, automation tools, pipeline deployment, and resilient enterprise production code.
- Experience with Java APIs and microservices, SQL databases, Snowflake, MQ, Kafka, and legacy .NET applications.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, strategic-thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in POD structures within an agile paradigm; Scaled Agile Framework experience is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
