Responsibilities
- Write, review, and ship production code in a hands-on capacity.
- Design and develop full-stack features primarily in TypeScript alongside Ruby components.
- Partner with product and design to translate supplier pain points into scalable solutions.
- Support high-velocity delivery through small iterations, continuous deployment, and regular releases.
- Instrument features, interpret results, and use data to guide product decisions.
- Use AI-powered development tools, including Claude Code.
- Raise engineering standards through code reviews, mentorship, and leading by example.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building and shipping enterprise software at scale.
- Deep full-stack experience with strong TypeScript proficiency.
- Required experience with Ruby on Rails or a similar framework.
- Experience with monolithic, microservices, and micro-frontend architectures.
- Grounding in agile practices, CI/CD, and DevOps culture.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code.
- Strong communication skills across distributed, cross-cultural teams.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
