Responsibilities
- Deploy AI use cases into production across varied industries with significant business impact.
- Develop state-of-the-art generative AI applications, including complex LLM fine-tuning, advanced RAG, and agentic use cases.
- Collaborate with researchers, AI engineers, product engineers, and science teams on complex customer projects.
- Contribute to open-source codebases for inference and fine-tuning.
- Participate in pre-sales calls, understand customer needs, and provide technical guidance on Mistral products and technologies.
- Use customer feedback to improve product and model capabilities.
Requirements
- Fluent English communication.
- At least 2 years of experience as a technical individual contributor, such as a data scientist or software engineer, working on AI-based products.
- Experience implementing AI or machine learning products using APIs, back-end interfaces, and front-end interfaces.
- Experience fine-tuning LLMs and addressing advanced RAG or agentic use cases.
- Deep understanding of machine learning and LLM concepts and algorithms.
- Strong coding skills in Python.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: contributions to open-source projects, particularly in LLMs.
- Preferred: experience as a Customer Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Product Manager.
- Preferred: deep-learning experience with PyTorch.
