Responsibilities
- Design and train computer vision models for automated vehicle damage detection, optimizing precision, recall, and robustness.
- Architect and maintain containerized, high-throughput model-serving services using REST and gRPC.
- Own the ML lifecycle from experimentation and design through deployment, optimization, and production operation.
- Build and maintain Kafka-based streaming data pipelines for model serving and inference.
- Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable, production-grade ML solutions.
- Design visual data annotation pipelines and evaluation frameworks for complex image datasets.
- Optimize high-latency models for real-time inference in high-traffic environments.
Requirements
- Graduate education (MS or PhD) in a computationally intensive domain or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of computer vision experience.
- Advanced proficiency with PyTorch, OpenCV, TensorFlow, Python, and SQL.
- Experience designing and maintaining visual data annotation pipelines and evaluation frameworks.
- Experience optimizing high-latency models for real-time inference.
- Backend software engineering experience in AWS or GCP, including Docker-based microservices and the ML model development lifecycle.
- Experience building and maintaining Kafka streaming data pipelines for real-time model serving.
- Preferred experience or knowledge of Kubeflow, Databricks, and KServe.
