Responsibilities
- Develop Java Spring Boot microservices and backend solutions.
- Design and develop API frameworks using SOAP and REST web services.
- Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements to create solutions that meet business needs.
- Assess application and process improvement opportunities and build stakeholder alignment.
- Report risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and upcoming tasks to stakeholders and the team.
- Lead technical aspects of API framework design and development.
- Understand and support production incident analysis and root-cause analysis for delivered features.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Java, microservices, and Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, web services, microservices, SOAP, and REST.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
- Basic database knowledge.
- Experience with TDD and BDD.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, including Jenkins and GitLab.
- Knowledge of Kafka and workflows such as Camunda BPM.
