Responsibilities
- Explore client needs and drive technical roadmaps and impactful infrastructure solutions.
- Help shape the company’s cloud and infrastructure practice through collaboration with business development, marketing, and capability development teams.
- Build controls and processes for the continuous delivery and evolution of infrastructure and applications, including automation across the delivery lifecycle.
- Lead monitoring and oversight to ensure technical expectations for project deliverables are consistently met.
- Provide expertise and guidance in DevOps, cloud, platform, and infrastructure engineering for internal and client teams.
- Build trusted partnerships with client engineering and commercial leadership.
- Lead the design and implementation of solutions addressing technical constraints and business policies.
Requirements
- Singapore citizenship is required because of client security-clearance requirements.
- Ability to lead collaborative design of enterprise or web-scale hosting platforms and administer application servers, web servers, and databases.
- Deep understanding of cloud and virtualization platforms, infrastructure automation, and application hosting technologies.
- Experience applying DevOps philosophies, Agile methods, and Infrastructure as Code to infrastructure and operations work.
- Experience with server virtualization, at least one IaaS cloud platform, and two or more application runtime platforms.
- Ability to script in at least one scripting language and build or administer Linux servers, Windows servers, or container clusters.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools across different technology stacks.
- Experience with monitoring systems, availability and performance concerns, security monitoring, stress and performance testing, and observability patterns.
- Understanding of infrastructure vulnerabilities, secrets management, network security, and software supply-chain security.
- Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools is a bonus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
- Ability to advise CTO, CIO, COO, and senior IT leadership while designing technical strategies.
- Ability to work effectively amid uncertainty and make decisions with limited information.
