Base Salary
$115k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Help developers deploy and scale Temporal in cloud-native environments.
- Troubleshoot complex distributed-systems and infrastructure issues and optimize cloud performance.
- Develop observability solutions using Grafana and Prometheus.
- Improve networking, including load balancing, DNS, and ingress/egress.
- Automate infrastructure operations with Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Independently drive technical solutions for production issues and infrastructure best practices.
- Engage with developers, engineering teams, and product teams to improve scalability, reliability, performance, and developer experience.
- Develop self-service infrastructure and diagnostic tools to simplify troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience as a developer with fluency in one or more of Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience deploying and managing medium- to large-scale architectures such as Kubernetes or Docker.
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana and with troubleshooting performance and availability issues.
- At least one year of experience in an internal or external customer-facing role.
- Experience working with or as part of remote teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous customer-facing experience as a professional services consultant, solutions architect, or customer engineer is preferred.
- Experience with security certificate management and implementation is preferred.
- Ability to understand use cases and translate them into Temporal design decisions and architecture best practices is preferred.
