Responsibilities
- Participate in solution design discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain business applications using Python.
- Develop backend applications and APIs and integrate third-party software components.
- Prepare technical design, development, testing, and support documentation.
- Perform unit and integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues.
- Monitor and support production applications for service availability and performance.
- Support deployment, configuration, and release activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 2 to 6 years of experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of Python 3.8+ and experience developing backend applications and APIs.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server or similar databases.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing practices.
- Experience with FastAPI is preferred.
- Experience with React and Node.js frontend development is preferred.
- Knowledge of application integration and REST APIs is preferred.
- Exposure to cloud technologies and modern development practices is preferred.
- Financial services or financial market operations experience is advantageous.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
