Responsibilities
- Participate in solution design discussions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Prepare technical design and development documentation.
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain business applications using Python.
- Integrate third-party software components and APIs.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues.
- Monitor and support production applications for service availability and performance.
- Support deployment, configuration, and release activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions.
- Maintain documentation, test datasets, and knowledge repositories.
- Drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of Python 3.8+ and experience developing backend applications and APIs.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including Microsoft SQL Server or similar databases.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing practices.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Preferred qualifications include FastAPI, React, Node.js, application integration, cloud technologies, modern development practices, and financial services or financial market operations experience.
