Responsibilities
- Develop the next generation of Five9’s SaaS platform and applications for AI-enabled contact center experiences.
- Build highly available, scalable, and reliable infrastructure for microservices.
- Apply cloud computing, software, and open-source technologies to solve complex platform challenges.
- Learn existing systems deeply and contribute to their overall design.
- Troubleshoot across the software stack and provide production support as needed.
- Collaborate with peers on developing and delivering platform capabilities.
Requirements
- 3+ years of software development experience on a Java development team using Spring Boot.
- 1+ years of cloud platform experience and experience with Spring Cloud.
- Experience designing and building highly available and scalable applications in GCP.
- Hands-on experience with Google BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, App Engine, and Cloud SQL.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience working on a continuous delivery team that develops, tests, deploys, and manages production applications on Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of private and public cloud design, virtualization, global infrastructure, distributed systems, load balancing, networking, event processing, large-scale data storage, and security.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field.
- An advanced degree in engineering or a business discipline is highly desirable.
