Base Salary
$148k - $222k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale systems powering intelligent workflows, conversational experiences, tool integrations, retrieval systems, onboarding flows, observability, and multi-channel customer engagement.
- Develop foundational platform capabilities and customer-facing experiences for highly configurable AI agents.
- Evaluate technical and business trade-offs and determine effective architectural and product approaches.
- Lead technical decision-making, mentor engineers, and drive engineering quality and execution across projects.
- Deploy thoroughly tested solutions that prioritize reliability, scalability, and customer impact.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, data science, and go-to-market teams to improve AI agent intelligence and reliability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
- Strong experience developing end-to-end software solutions or extensive experience across front-end and back-end technologies.
- Proven experience building high-quality, scalable, customer-facing systems in fast-moving product environments.
- Experience leading projects and being accountable for technical and business outcomes.
- Experience mentoring team members or driving initiatives that help teams develop new skills.
- Experience conducting code reviews and maintaining robust testing and deployment cycles.
- Practical experience experimenting with LLMs, AI tooling, or agentic workflows in professional or personal projects.
- Skills with Python and related technologies are preferred.
- Skills with React and related technologies are preferred.
- Experience with conversational AI systems, workflow engines, agentic platforms, retrieval systems, embeddings, evaluation frameworks, or LLM orchestration patterns is preferred.
- Experience with cloud-native solutions, ideally AWS, is preferred.
- Experience with machine learning systems, AI infrastructure, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, observability, tracing, experimentation, or AI quality and evaluation tooling is preferred.
