Base Salary
$171k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build working proof-of-value solutions using prospects’ data and systems during the pre-sale process.
- Partner with Account Executives, finance teams, IT teams, and economic buyers to conduct discovery and lead technical evaluations.
- Develop technical narratives, ROI cases, architecture reviews, security and compliance reviews, and technical RFP responses.
- Architect and deploy customer-specific AI Agent configurations for complex accounting workflows.
- Review and edit Python, write SQL, troubleshoot integrations and data flows, and optimize SQL validations and API-driven workflows.
- Serve as the technical escalation point, maintain SLAs, document issues, and coordinate with Core Engineering.
- Lead enterprise transformation engagements, implementations, training, adoption, renewals, and expansion initiatives.
- Travel to customer sites for technical evaluations, deployments, training, and adoption workshops.
- Provide structured customer feedback to Product Management and Core Engineering and create reusable implementation guides and deployment playbooks.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, technical consulting, or a comparable hands-on customer-embedded engineering role.
- Deep experience with agentic AI, including LangChain, LangGraph, MCP servers, multi-agent systems, RAG, vector stores, and hybrid retrieval.
- Experience with LLMs and tooling including OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic, GitHub Copilot, Gemini Code Assist, and prompt engineering.
- Deep experience with GraphQL, webhooks, SQL, and enterprise integrations.
- Ability to collaborate as a technical peer with Product Managers and Engineers and manage multiple deployments under delivery pressure.
- Experience leading technical troubleshooting calls with customers and internal IT teams and operating across pre-sale proofs and production deployments.
- Ability to translate ambiguity into executable requirements and communicate effectively with engineers and executives.
- Strong commercial awareness, stakeholder management, and ability to work under delivery and revenue pressure.
- Preferred experience in high-growth SaaS, applied AI, fintech, ERP, accounting-adjacent domains, or a relevant industry vertical.
- Prior customer-site experience on a multi-month deployment is preferred; non-traditional backgrounds including veterans, management consultants, competitive programmers, and PhDs are also welcomed.
