Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-quality software solutions.
- Lead full-stack engineering delivery using Java-based microservices, APIs, and modern application architectures.
- Deliver enterprise and external system integrations connecting digital asset platforms with banking, payments, compliance, data, and third-party systems.
- Build and integrate wallets, custody, transaction-signing systems, and end-to-end digital asset or tokenisation platforms.
- Develop and manage secure smart contracts and contribute to DLT and blockchain architecture.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, stakeholders, and external partners to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, knowledge sharing, technical communities, and mentoring.
- Advise senior stakeholders, guide technical direction, manage risks and controls, and contribute to strategy and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Strong experience leading full-stack engineering delivery with hands-on expertise in Java-based microservices, APIs, and modern application architectures.
- Deep knowledge of DLT platforms such as Hyperledger Besu and EVM-based networks, plus blockchain architecture concepts.
- Proven experience developing and deploying Solidity smart contracts with a strong focus on security and lifecycle management.
- Experience building end-to-end digital asset or tokenisation platforms, including integrations with wallets, custody, and transaction-signing systems.
- Strong understanding of scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise systems, API design, and distributed architectures.
- Knowledge of domestic and international payment systems, instant payments, payment processing, and digital assets is valued.
- Knowledge of blockchain or distributed ledger technology such as Ethereum and experience integrating secure transaction systems is valued.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, common design patterns, risk and controls, strategic thinking, business acumen, and digital technology.
