Responsibilities
- Develop greenfield software for a globally distributed market data architecture.
- Build cloud-native platforms for distributing and processing real-time tick data.
- Architect high-throughput distributed systems with significant horizontal scalability.
- Write optimized, high-throughput code.
- Collaborate with researchers and data scientists across QRT.
- Contribute to a strong engineering culture and potentially provide project leadership and stakeholder management.
Requirements
- Four years of software engineering experience.
- Experience with distributed real-time systems.
- Systems design and architecture experience.
- Ability to write optimized, high-throughput code.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Advantageous experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, NumPy, Numba, C++, Rust, Polars, Arrow, Flight/gRPC, market data, SRE, or DevOps.
