Responsibilities
- Develop and promote DevOps practices for software and firmware development across the organization.
- Own the development and operation of product delivery infrastructure.
- Design reusable and scalable deployment solutions for microservices and traditional applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and development processes.
- Build and maintain development tools and infrastructure.
- Define the platform backlog based on stakeholder needs.
- Write, review, test, and examine automation code.
- Identify technical problems and develop software updates and fixes.
- Partner with software developers and engineers to ensure established development processes work as intended.
- Participate in project planning and project management decisions.
Requirements
- B.Tech, B.E., M.Tech in Computer Science, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or OpenShift and CI platforms such as Jenkins.
- Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience with log aggregation tools such as ELK.
- Understanding of at least one scripting language, including Python, Bash, or Perl.
- Proficiency with development tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Confluence.
- Exposure to microservices tools including Prometheus, Grafana, tracing, and service mesh technologies.
- GitOps experience is a plus.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work effectively with globally distributed teams.
- Strong analytical, reporting, presentation, and technical communication skills.
