Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, set engineering direction, and mentor engineers.
- Design, build, and evolve platforms, services, APIs, integrations, and reusable engineering capabilities.
- Build scalable solutions connecting application, infrastructure, cloud, configuration, asset, security, risk, and operational data.
- Establish engineering standards and patterns for architecture, code quality, APIs, testing, observability, security, resilience, and deployment.
- Improve data quality, automation, and governance through data pipelines, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Design, build, and operate cloud solutions on AWS using Infrastructure as Code and automated delivery practices.
- Partner with architecture, security, risk, data, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise-aligned solutions.
- Help evolve enterprise technology platforms, including CMDB, IT Asset Management, and ServiceNow capabilities.
- Maintain direct accountability for design, development, testing, and delivery through fully hands-on engineering and coding.
Requirements
- 14–20 years of strong software engineering experience, including senior technical leadership.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and deep experience with one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Golang, Python, or TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Experience designing data-intensive, API-led, microservices, serverless, or event-driven systems.
- Strong experience designing and building APIs, integrations, automation, and data pipelines.
- Experience designing, building, and operating cloud solutions, preferably on AWS.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, automated testing, observability, and reliability engineering.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise data and integration architectures.
- Ability to work across application, infrastructure, cloud, data, security, and enterprise architecture domains.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or any equivalent degree.
