Base Salary

$72k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the framework overhaul of existing applications, including migration to Telerik KendoReact.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain .NET-based components and interfaces with third-party applications.
  • Determine user needs, analyze system capabilities, and resolve issues involving program intent, output requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure software standards are met and work effectively with development, quality assurance, and information technology teams.
  • Act as the overall software architect and adjust the team’s approach to meet customer requirements.
  • Direct and teach subordinates and present deliverables and ideas in a formal manner.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft Server 2012.
  • Strong working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Extensive experience developing server application software using Java and C#.
  • Experience developing systems in Linux and Windows environments.
  • Experience integrating COTS and third-party tools.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to direct and teach subordinates.
  • Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is desired.
  • Eight years of DoD or equivalent government-agency experience, operational-level experience, military or Special Operations background, previous software-development team leadership, and agile development experience are desired.

  • The proposed base salary range is $71,500–$150,200.
